Don't know if any of you have heard of this.
It was shared with me by a sec four senior in my school.

Imagine that your life was a bottle.
For every sin you commit, I shall add in a drop of deadly poison.
For every good deed you do, I shall add in a drop of pure water.

Let's say, for example,
you forgot to do your homework one day,
and lied to your teacher about why.
You'd think it was harmless,
but I've already added a drop of poison into the bottle.

Let us say, from that day onwards, you never sin again.
To make up for that slip,
you do loads of good deeds.
I'll keep filling up the bottle with pure water.

Once the bottle has reached it's brim,
I'll ask you:

Do you dare to drink it?

Really got me thinking.
Time to right a seriously scarred attendance record.

hi girls :)

it was a nice first CG session :) thanks for being such nice bubus and tolerating all my nonsense. haha.

i trust and pray that each of you will take time to read the bible, pray and seek God every day :) do use the time you spend on the bus or MRT, the time you spend queuing, the time you spend bathing, basically any pocket of time you may have, to share your thoughts and feelings with God :) in reading the bible, you may use the online version of 'our daily bread' (http://www.rbc.org/odb/odb.shtml) first, till your copy of 'mettle' arrives :) do jot down some reflections in your journals as well :)

yup, so i'm really looking forward to sharing a spiritually fulfilling year with all of you :) and i pray that each of us in Goodness 1 CG will grow closer to God and to each other :) till we meet again on sunday, have a blast in school dearies!
